A selection of carrier oils

Carrier oils all belong to a large group of oils called lipid oils, this includes the butters and highly pigmented, anti-oxidant rich high value oils.

And while technically both these could be called carrier oils, the term Lipid Oil is more accurate. But there are many many lipid oils that do make very good carrier oils, and are used to quite literally carry other ingredients in a recipe or blend.

In this short video, I talk about the properties that make for a good carrier oil.
