Fig seed oil is a fun new lipid I have been working with recently. It is light in color, pale yellow with no discernable scent. High in polyunsaturated fatty acids, fig seed oil is a light oil that penetrates well. In the unsaponifiable portion, we find natural anti-inflammatory properties.
Here is a short video on this lovely oil, the fatty acids, and unsaponifiables along with a few ideas for formulating and combining it with other lipids.

Actually fig seed oil has a delightful sweet apple fruity scent!
Thank you for the info. So interesting, as usual!
I’m very interested in the anti-inflammatory properties of the fig seed oil, as discussed in your video. Is this an oil that you offer for purchase?
No, we don’t offer this oil to purchase, just part of my lipid research.
Susan, once again, I learn so much in your videos! Thank you for sharing this information. This is yet another oil I’d like to try.
I’ve had my eye on this particular oil for awhile… i’ve read that it’s mildly exfoliating….
