blueberry seed oil in beaker

Blueberries have a solid reputation as a healthy superfood and for good reason. They are high in antioxidants and other vitamins.

Eating a blueberry you might notice the subtle crunch of the outer skin followed by the tart sweetness of the fleshy fruit inside.

But what you might not notice is the tiny seeds inside the fruit.

It is these seeds that give us blueberry seed oil.

In the video below, I have two very distinct blueberry seed oils from different suppliers that both have important skin-nourishing fatty acids and a good dose of antioxidants.

What berry oils are you working with? leave a question or a comment below

  • Yes, Susan! Green is a common term used in all natural perfumery! And..who is your favorite Blueberry oil supplier??!

  • Hi Susan! Blueberry seed oil is my all-time favorite oil to use, but I have NEVER seen purple! Awesome. Are you willing to share where you sourced this oil? I would like to dig deeper and learn how they processed the oil and maybe uncover how the purple color came about. Thanks!
